NZ Restaurant of the Year 2003 Chameleon Restaurant at Hotel
InterContinental, Wellington. Menu Du Jour would like to send

on this outstanding achievement.

NZ Chef of the Year 2003 winner was John Allred from Boulcott
St Bistro, Wellington.

NZ Professional Waiter of the Year 2003 winner was Louise Plowman
Millbrook Resort, Arrowtown.

NZ Pastry Chef of the Year 2003 winner was Richard Hingston
from Crowne Plaza, Christchurch.

NZ Commis of the Year 2003 went to Lyn Nguyen from Sky City,
Auckland.

NZ Junior Food & Beverage Person of the Year 2003 winner was
Renee Morris from Sky City, Auckland.

The Hot Kitchen Excellence Award went to David Thurlow from
Government House, Wellington.

The Outstanding Chef Newcomer award went to Andrew Graham from
Icon Restaurant, Wellington.

Training Excellence Award winner was NZ Management Academies,
Auckland.

Secondary Schools Excellence Award 2003 winner was Tangaroa
College, Auckland.

Robert Harris National barista Awards 2003 winner was Carl Sara
from Muffin Break, Christchurch.

Junior Team Skills winner was the team from the Southern Institute
of Technology, Invercargill.

Young Butcher of the Year went to Richard Sanders from Huapai
Country Butchers, Auckland.

The Torque d’Or 2003 award went to the Christchurch Polytechnic
Institute of Technology.
