Soups are a great way to take advantage of low seasonal prices on some vegetables and make a popular and profitable dish. Take care on the pricing of soups, serving sizes and how filling they are. Don’t under-price filling soups or customers will order them in place of a meal. A smaller serving of a soup is an extra sale and a meal sized soup with bread is guaranteed to bring in customers from the cold.
